You certainly have the darkness down pact.
This track would've fit well in MK3, possibly for The Street or The Bridge.
Track 2:
The beginning is really nice, seems fitting for a main menu theme. After the first 25 seconds, however, the tone of the track seems to shift dramatically. In the end, the darkness is still there, so Kudos!

I know exactly what you're talking about and I agree, but part of me feels like it kind of still fits in because of the rest of the audio with it.
Something else I noticed now, it seems a bit repetitive, the drums are supposed to change that mind but it doesn't. While this is the finished piece, I am slightly reworking on it now and hoping something sparks.
