they're both horrible. im sorry, but it looks like you have photoshop so you should be able to do better than that. Heres some nice tutorials...

No, don't stop using clouds. Just stop using them by themself. There are many ways to create nifty BGs using the clouds. Yours is just clouds... which sucks.
