Well, it's another okay one, lol.
Loading doesn't work again by the way.
- There are no names on the lifebars, not major, but it's always nice.
- The music is out of sync, but that's not overly important as the sounds and music are good quality.
- Johnny Cage's daze animation is a little odd, look at his feet.
- The uppercut, definately doesn't look right, I'll agree it's a change from the regular uppercut, but it still doesn't look right.
- With the moves there is a lot of hopping about - look at the characters' feet during the animation.
- Cage doesn't fall straight at all! A motion tween might have been better here (no wobbling)!
- If he's frozen, there perhaps shouldn't be blood and organs.
- If Cage is frozen, how come his head suddenly becomes unfrozen???
- The stage doesn't go dark, but because it's mk4 style that's fair enough as it doesn't in that game. Did you intend it that way, or just forgot? Lol.
- If he's falling from that height, I don't think just the upper body would break, the legs should break too.
- MK3 Sub Zero, MK2 Cage
- Stage seems a little humongous compared to the sprites.
- Living Forest Music? And the win music isn't the same theme, i.e. it's not the music thats played when you win in the living forest, (it's Goro's Lair I believe).
- All "movements" (not sprite changes and frames, i mean moving objects) are awfully jumpy, once again, a motion tween may have been better.
- If Johnny's frozen, he shouldn't screem when he's cracking, especially since his unfrozen head is detatched.
- When Johnny's hit, you forgot to get rid of the part of the sound where he lands on the floor, the file is called uppercut.wav I believe, lol, it includes the part where he hits the floor, listen carefully when Johnny is hit.
- What's with the thunder sound when the ice cracks???
On the better side of things:
+ The lifebars moving off screen is a nice touch, and with the mk4 theme.
+ It's not all happening so fast like many of your others
+ Nice touches with the sound (well, most of them), just needs some better timing at the start, but very good with that.
Overall, I would give it a 5.5/10, but the sounds sorta won me over, so maybe a 6/10. Lol.
