Ok well, this is just a little too common. You should have done something like... use something besides just the spikes to do the fatality, would have made it more original.

The blood is just lacking really, it just looks... flat, nothing that really makes it special. But you did make sure and not let the spike be seen in the right places, good pick on that. The sprite choices are fine I suppose, but they are just to common looking. The fatality text is not needed yet, as Ermac has not gone into his victory pose. Win tokens and shadows could have been could here to add something more to this.

After just seeing your Sub-Zero fake, this really disappoints me. You had so much originality going on in your previous one, and you totally left it out here, go back to that original style; this is just too bland. If you need help with shadows, etc.. visit the thread at the top of this page about opinions on what makes good fakes. Tim was nice enough to post some helpful diagrams in there.

I agree, although it was nicely done, I thought you should've used something else... perhaps a phone booth? Sorry, got done watching the movie... ANYWAY.....

Sorry, just nothing really noticable about it.

This one is pretty basic really, and there are a few things that are absent.
Here:

- No win marks, to show who won (it's obvious, but it needs the marks).
- The background has not gone dark for the fatality.
- MK2 Ermac sprite with an MK3 Johnny Cage on an MK2 Background with MK3 lifebars and timer with MK2 texts. I'm not so keen on mixing sprites, but it's your choice.
- "Ermac Wins" text is missing, and the fatality text is a bit too far down the picture, should be slightly further up.
- A telekinetic effect on Ermac's arm/hand would have been a nice addition here.
- No shadows, these would make a welcome addition.

Good Things
+ While it is basic, It's reasonably well done.
+ The blood on the floor is pretty good.
+ The "nails" or swords or knives or whatever, are reasonable.

This type of fatality is way too common, the whole, nails "raining" down on opponent thing. But either way, this isn't so bad as some others I've seen.

That's actually pretty cool. There isn't any stupid pointless shit in this fake. The only thing you forgot were the icons to symbolize the two rounds he should have won. I like how you only added blood to the spikes that were actually stabbing Cage. The only thing I don't like is how you mixed around MK3 and MK2, and the red circle around Ermac's hand. I give it a 4.
