Pretty nice .
I like the stage most of all, dark but light enough to see everything.

The edits are cool too, although I'm confused by the Raiden one. Whats the yellow square? Did you try to edit the sleeves like his MK4 alt (the yellow ones) or what is it? Lol, it looks a little strange either way.

The Shang one is great. Only things I can think of are perhaps making the edges of his clothes more sharp to take the smoothed colours look away from it a little. Also, careful where you position him, it looks like you've tried to edit his hair into a ponytail when infact it's the fence behind him (I had to zoom in to tell tho), lol.

I can't see any shadows, although I can see some dark patches around the right place that could be, but if so, they're very hard to make out.

Last thing is with Shang's soul steal effect. The green mist blends in a bit too well into the background mist. Perhaps if it glowed a little more?

Nonetheless, great fake! 7.5/10

i dont understand what you all are talking about and those weird messages were like the only thing i really saw that were cool not that what ever you are talking about isnt cool, i just dont know what or where it is you are talking about, sorry!!!!

That's pretty cool, Arctic. The Tsung sprite edit is great and yeah the Raiden edit confused me a bit, too.

It looks very nice. I especially like the smoke in the foreground. The sprites themselves are badass. Overall, great pic.

First of all, I'd like to see less fog, or at least a fog-less version to how well the sprite editing on this is. From what I can see, it's much more bland than what you've been putting in your sprites thread. I think what's wrong is that the clothing has texture, but it doesn't look like it wraps around the bodies (it's flat). Also, Raiden's hat is too bright. If thats the way the base sprite came, you should probably have fixed that in your editing.

As for the actual execution, I prefer a less bloody approach to a soul steal fatality. I just don't see the spirit ripping out of the skin, more passing through it. A sharper effect inside the actual soul would have been a cool touch too. Just enough to give it some detail and show that it is Raiden's soul, not just a green mist (maybe do a transparent effect of his face or another sprite).

I'm guessing this is just a special move too, since there aren't enough medallions up top. I do appreciate you getting the spacing of all that stuff up there right though.

Don't get me wrong, though. I'm not trying to bash it, just that I nit pick fakes a lot. I still think it looks pretty good and would rate it a 7/10. Honestly though, I expected something more "wow" from ya, Arctic.

I particularly like the background on this, it is really dark. And the effects are great, the fog really sets the mood. However, I'm a bit disappointed in your sprites. They are usually fantastic, but they look a little flat and smudged. Maybe it is just what you did with the effects though. Also the blood looks strange for some reason.

damn,lol. You gave MK2 an even darker feel. i like it, shang's out fit could be a bit better, but nice. 4/5
