Well, this one's problem is in the background. Its not very good, as you just pasted props that don't really look good together around again. I'm really not understanding what's going on outside that steel fence. And the wall that Shang Tsung has been impaled on is not connected to the BG, and it would have been better if it was. The lifebars... aren't so bad I guess, though its hard to make out the timer.

I suppose your choice of sprites are good, though they both don't have any shadows again. The blood here is not good at all. Also, the spike that hit Tsung should now be visible, and you really cant even see the spikes behind him because you used to much blood back there, there should be some blood up in front of him as well. This looks too simple, the fatality idea isn't all that original, spend some more time on these and they will turn out better.
