Well this fake won me first place in a fake comp over at mkhideout. hope you like it.

Whoa! Crazy great! Amazing job.
The sprites look awesome, i especially like the Kung Lao one.(Shaolin Monks outfit) It looks like a mix of 2D & 3D. The blood looks great too, both the background-blood and Kung Lao-blood.
Raven looks great aswell... And so does the spear. But, is he just holding it(is the other end just sort of hanging around) or is the other end in his pocket?
And i'm guessing you did the background too? Incredible... It looks like a real time frozen picture from Deception.
The only weird thing... Is the fact that when Raven pulled his "spear" out, he took off a big part of Lao's stomach. But it seems to have been disappeared and covered with blood instead. Or am i mistaken and his upperbody has flown up abit?
I'm not really into making fakes, but i sure can rate them.

Nice work Foot. I've got a few pointers for ya for next time though :)
Basically Raven need more contrast to him. He has good texture, but he needs more lighting to show he's an object in the background, not just a textured piece stuck in the middle.
Kung Lao is phenominal except for his vest. There is an absence of lighting (visible anyway) to that part. Also, you should have his flap on his back side flowing out behind him.
The background is an exceptional edit. The only thing I have a problem with is the pool of blood. It needs to be darker or something near the back wall to give it some feeling of depth.
It also looks like you've got some stray blood where the wall and blood meet. Like you overran into the pool of blood with your wall decoration blood.

Yeah, The kung lao sprite is superb, I really like the job you did on his pants.
Raven is great too, but needs more texture.
