your sprite edits look so.... I dont know wtf to say. It looks like you drew them with a colored pencil. Ermac looks horrible, Kobra is okay, but not great. The only thing I can give praise to is the background.

The sprites look too animated for MK. I guess they are closer to the new MK: DA/D type though. Ermac is a nice edit, but I don't like the Kobra one. I thought he was Tarkattan, on account of the baldness. The blood looks like play-doh, and Ermac looks like he was puked on. They're a'ight, but they don't scream MK, style wise. Sorry, I just prefer the more real, classic style sprites.

Love the background. Your take on the Prison is good. The lights are one of the details I forgot in my version back in the day. The dank, dark look, and the wooden floor make me think it's the brig on the Nethership. Nice touch.

All in all, it's the sprites that I don't care for. As an art piece 9/10.

P.S. All I've seen here lately are noobs. It's nice to see blacksaibot, and foot, but where is everyone else?

Ermac's details look awkward. I guess it doesn't have a dark enough red in it. That might be it. Kobra's body is not proportional (his upper body looks normal compared to the lower half). The effects for Ermac (the green shit) don't look like the glowy look you were going for. THe whole ermac concept looks "papery" or something, can't really put my finger on it. The blood is your usual blood effects.
