Good idea but it needs some revision:

-Include Ermac in the game but keep him as a hidden fighter off the battle plan. Reptile can join the regular roster.

-Replace the generic Shaolin monk with Nimbus Terrafaux.

-Mystery surprise: Masked Guard is the Great Kung Lao.

I was never a fan of Nimbus. I put the Shaolin Monk because I was going with the whole "background character becomes a real fighter" thing. They even did it in MK2011's story mode cut scene at one point.

I wouldn't want to include Kung Lao because he is one of the reasons that made MK2 so great and I just don't see him fitting with MK1 people.

Nimbus is missing. Even tho he was more of a silly rumor, it'd still be cool

Due to "popular demand" I updated the roster with Nimbus Terrafaux...

I also added a select screen with Nimbus as a playable character. Ermac, Reptile, and the background characters, Shaolin Monk and Masked guard, are unplayable fighters.

Decreasing the color depth, loading a custom pallete, and using the distortion's pixelate feature.

That looks so awesome with the battle plan and character select screen I feel like I want the Masked Gaurd to be my new “almost a rip-off character” for my new series.
