Well I won't lie, this is pleasing to the eye. I guess it's the colors you used; they go so well together.

I love how you took Saibot's X-ray move and executed it with your "Saizero" character. Great use of the sprites.

This stage isn't your best, but it makes sense, fits well, and definitely belongs in Mortal Kombat. Good job with the health bars.

The sprite editing itself isn't too impressive. I just see color changes. Well I lied, I see some edits on the Kano sprite. Not bad. Keep at it.

The puke doesn't make sense how its splashing on his leg, just a copy and paste of reptile's acid puke.. I'm sure you could have drawn it yourself, or at least editing it to make it look a bit better. At least you recolored it so it resembles vomit.

I would think SaiZero should be a female ninja since you're basing it off your character . I like the BG, A LOT, it's something I've been brainstorming but in the end it's crap. It's not the best fake in the world, as it could be better. It would've been kicked ass if you had added an X-Ray effect on Sindel to demonstrate what's going on to make her puke. But it's all work in progress and we need more fakes these days as my animation is one toilet paper away from getting flushed for good. Bahhh!

Replicating MK9 X-Ray moves has potential for an interesting series of fakes. This one in particular though doesn't really pop out. It's missing the cool X-ray effect from the game but I don't think that part of the move actually had it so you would be accurate in that respect. It would be nice if you added some exaggerated motions or debris to highlight the critical and painful hit. I gave this a go a while back but ended up with a fatality:

Nice fake there. I agree with BS about how well the colours go together between the foreground and background. Good to see you paying close attention to the details in the sprites as well; your saizero sprite is impressive.

I'm sorry, I must have missed something while playing MK2011; but what super duper cool special X-ray effects do you see happening here during the gut kick & puke?
