Well i like that you made Ermac the winner there is a 5 point bonus
cuz that's important,

, lol.
It's not bad.
I dunno why the others were so hard on the other one in that thread because to be honest for a beginner your way ahead of a lot of others ive seen on here.
There's quite a few things I could pick up comparitavely speaking like the resolution (400 x 254) is standard MK Arcade resolution and lifebars/texts etc, but there's something more important you're missing and it's particularly important with the animation you've tried to create here.
You're lacking "anticipation". You've got some of it in the long fall and good examples of it in the ground breaking - but the letting the audience know what's going to happen before it does even more would make this much more watchable.
E.g. instead of falling forever and smashing onto the spikes. Have the camera pan down to the spikes while Scorpion is falling (i.e. he moves up and off the screen) and when you arrive at the spikes, stop. Scorpion re-enters (at quite a speed) smashes onto the spike, screen shaking would be a good addition and plenty of blood of course

.
You started to do that with Scorpion moving to the top of the screen, but it was too quick and didn't quite have the effect.
Add a bunch of sounds and music (particularly the fatality drums) and I think you'd be onto a winner

.
The other thing is like I said before, get you're lifebars and texts all good and stuff, I mean Ermac's lifebar is shorted than Scorpions! That's fine if its intentional, but because there's nothing else there, we're not to know.
Good effort though and keep it up!
