Still scathed from the battle, Sub-Zero returned to his hideout, a cave inside a mountain on which the top of is the mighty Lin-Keui temple. He returned to find his kombatant in training waiting for him. "You have learned well" said Sub-Zero "The path to become a kombatant in mortal kombat is complete, we shall return to the outworld for your first battle" "Yes master, I feel I have also mastered the mighty Lin-Keui fatality" "show me, Frost" Frost threw an ice ball at the dummy standing in the outway and it froze solid, next she reared up next to the dummy and threw a massive uppercut, shattering the dummy into a million pieces. "Yes Frost, you are ready, the fatality is mastered, you shall win your match"
Frost stepped up onto the kombat circle, ready for her battle.
Shang Tsungs booming vioce swept the Outworld: THE FIRST KOMBAT FOR KOMBATANT FROST SHALL BE AGAINST THE LIN-KEUI ROBOTIC NINJA Sub-Zeros heart started to beat rapidly, "no, it cant be,
make it be cyrax, make it be cyrax", the silence was torturous as the voice said, SMOKE."
"Nooo!" Sub-Zero was distraught, "You cant fight him, he still has a soul, we can still retrieve him" "I must do what I must" Frost was ditermined "No" said Sub-Zero as he threw an
ice ball at Frost and approuched Smoke. "Smoke, its me, please try, try to remember, you have a soul" "Lin-Keui robots do not have souls" "Smoke, thats the robot talking" a raspy voice replied "I know, take off the helmet" Sub-Zero did just that and saw a perfectly preserved face, just as Smoke did before he was robotized" "come, we mustttt" and as he said this Frost burst out and fired ice shards at Smoke, Sub-zero flew in front of these and took the attack. With Sub-Zero mortally wounded Frost picked up Smoke and ran towards the cave, leaving Sub-Zero for dead.
