I decided this belongs in the fanart section, because I need this info, because I am making a fake, and I need to know this for it.

If I create something in paint, and import it into Photoshop, is there any way to make the white background (On my imported picture) transparent?

Yes, When you import it you will see your background as locked.

What you do is drag that layer down onto the 'New layer' button by the trash icon.

This duplicates your back ground.

Then drag your 'locked' original background layer over the trash icon.

You are now left with a copy of your background.

Use the magic wand to highlight the the areas you want transparent with the magic wand, and then press 'delete'.

You should now see a checkered background where you deleted the image.

The checkered part indicates that this area you deleted is transparent.

Just repeat this for all the bits you want transparent.

You can check this by opening a picture then draging the layer over and see if any white bits show up.

Hope this helps.

Why would you make something in Paint first anyway?

Because, it's not paint, it's the user of paint that tells how good the fake will be.
