ok, so that isn't gonna happen, so how about the cage versus nitara pic? seems the longest and most difficult to draw so why not get that out of the way first?

Well the first one... sounds a bit odd. Mileena with blonde hair is a bit strange sounding, but then again, there isn't alot of Mileena fan art to go around on this forum.. so maybe.

The Cage vs. Nitara sounds the most interesting to me... neither character has many concepts here. Though, I would imagine this one would be the most difficult for you to draw, but it sounds quite cool to me.

The new character idea one... well... it would be interesting if you could do something with it. But the description sounds like all the person wants is a white guy in a black suit. If you do this one.. I'd like to see it more original than that.

As for the last one, the Jade request. There are alot of Jade fans here at the board, therefore Jade has more sketches than the other choices.

I would place my vote on #2, the Cage/Nitara one. Though, its difficult sounding, so as a backup vote I choose the Mileena idea.

I agree w/ MKSECRETS its more of a original drawing.

Heh, I was thinking the Cage one too. Though I already have the Jade art started, I haven't been inspired to finish it lately. There is a slight problem with the Mileena one though. It's that I lost the pic that the person wanted it based on. I think I'll make an announcement at the other site about it.

why dont you make something that YOU want to do? why do you need other people telling you what to draw?? where's the fun in that? be original, make something nobody would expect to see.

If you'd look around you'd see that I like to draw what I choose as well. That said, I also like to hear other people's ideas, and if they can't, or don't want to draw them, I'd love to try it. This is totally of my free will to draw, and it's something that I enjoy doing.

If you ever plan to make money in the art business you also need to learn to take orders from people and be willing to listen to what people like. Of course, you can always do what you want. But if you want to go into the design business, you have to listen to your employer or starve.

This is just for fun iffrit. Something I like to do. I love hearing what people would like to have drawn, and if it weren't for these requests, I probably would quite for longer than I intended because I don't get much pressure from myself. By doing art for other people *even without a time limit such as these* I feel more pressure to make sure that I complete these projects. On my own, I probably have over 30 projects, pieces, and ideas that I have yet to finish, and probably won't finish unless I get really bored.
I mean, I have plenty of my own ideas. But since it'll probably be next to forever for me to finish them, I may as well make other people happy. It's kind of how people make sigs for other people. They know how to do it. They like to do it. And they realize that they can make other people happy by making one for them as well, and by doing so it also fuels their own creativity.

Well, that's enough out of me. Just know that this is something that I like to do.

I put one vote for myself, because I think I want to do Cage vs, Nitara, but I'm also leaning back toward Jade. Mileena sounds like fun to color, and I wonder why I even accepted the Noob order. To tell you the truth, I can't even find that person anymore :\

Hmm, that's good, but do you have a bit more detail for that. Do you have any specific perspectives that you want to see it from or any sort of mood or place, or stage for it to take place on, etc.?

i want it to have a dark feeling to it i thought the idea would fit perfect in Shang tsungs stage in MKDA also when shang is draining the life out of shao kahn the mummified dragon king should all be standing around kahn and shang.also the angle of the pic should be somewhere like the side-view or birds eye but birds eye is hard to do well for me it is.-DF this is my last post for now see general discussion for details.

Oh, alright, cool. I totally have a concept in my head for that. I hope you come back when I finally finish it ;P
