hey I like it. it's not bad.
It could have been better by adding some of the ribs and bones. the ones that show when an opponent would blow up on MK2.
Other than that it's good. I give it a 8

Jax needs to get darker before exploding. The pic also needs more flesh, and ribs and bones, etc. Also, the flesh is like, floating when it comes down. It should come down faster.
Anyway, overall, it's good enough. And it's great how u made the backround animated.

Well Tim, it was actually kinda funny!! So I'll give it......an "I dunno" score. It was entertaining in the comedic sense.

I don't really like the blood effects neither the shock.

I thought it was great except the shocking effect and the blood on the floor. Good job though.

I really liked it. It was a great quality but one thing i didnt like was when he exploded, you should have made more stuff and made it fly around more. I really like how u made him get darker and how he picked him up, nice. Also i see u got the hang of using movie clips

Those lighting effects are ok.
The blood sucks.
And everything else is kool, you added some nice details, which I like.

Heh, areas to "discuss"
Blood - The blood that comes out of Jax when Raiden "enters" him is direct from the game (even though it's Genesis version).
The "other" blood, i.e. the bloody pieces are sorta an added onto version of Jax's head clap, but I agree, they aren't the best in the world.

Lightning Sparks - Really, they're just, sparks, blue and white dots (carefully animated ) that fly out. Anyhow, I didn't really concentrate on the graphics on them, as I did the fluency on them, I wanted to make sure they didn't like "jump" around and moved smoothly, which I think they did .

Background Animation - This was one of my main focusses, the Shadow Priests moving in the background, and the lightning in the portal. Nice to know some of you appreciated it

Jax's Fading - Jax does get a tint of black about half way through the shocking. If you have a very bright monitor, you may find it hard to see, if you have a monitor that is moderately bright (like mine), and won't go to very bright, then you should be able to see it. Otherwise, it isn't too big a deal.

And iceghost, I'm working on an animation tutorial that will be put up on my site when it's finished.
It would be nice to see some more people animating.
Oh and Murdoink, I can't find the ani at Total-MK's site, but I think I know which one you mean, the one where Raiden grabs the torso off Baraka and then summons a lightning bolt. It's cool

BTW, you need to get a program to make better lightning and sparks. This one is good, but I'de love to c better lightning on your fakes...and avatar.

the lightning reminded me of pom poms i'd rather of seen regular bolts swirling around the body and more blood chunks at the end. background animation is very good; good lighting applied to animation also.
