The lightning effects look god-awful with a white background.

nah dont like it. he is not purple but brown and the lighning is awful sorry.

Make the right hand side of Rain (your left) a lighter tone than the rest of him that way it'll look like the light from the lightning is boucning off him, making this look ultra-realistic.

Grab what you got, and slap it onto a dark background, and make whatever the lightning touches a little lighter with the lighting tool. You need a darker background to see the actual effects, because right now its barely visible.
