This outfit is heavily inspired from Rain's Mortal Kombat Armadeggon look, but with more of a "Persian Thief" feel to it. I wanted Rain to be somewhat reminiscent of a Pirate or an Outlaw, so I added a tattered overcoat with a hood to conceal his identity. His Golden Bronze Daggers and Storm Sword compliment his arm bands, which in a smiliar fashion to Ermac also have a gemstone embedded within them, although these tear shaped aquamarines do nothing to enhance Rain's own Hydrokinetic abilities.

The coat itself has a royal insignia on both shoulders and is frayed towards the sleeve opening, perhaps it's poor state and condition is a physical representation of Rain's own regard to his herritage.The Edenian Kamidogu symbol is also fashioned onto Rain's belt buckle. Ultimately, I wanted him to appear too well adorned to come across as a begger, and too frayed and unkept to be welcomed amongst Aristocracy.
