Raven Drawing (No Color + Terrible)
Quit being down on yourself because you think your drawing isn't that great. I used to be in the same boat as you, sometimes even now because I'm at a school where I know there are people who can draw better than me. But what I do is continue to draw my characters over and over again and fix the issues that I see or that other people see to get better. That's what makes art fun. You can improve basically by the next picture you make. Take classes in art, or like me, teach yourself with only criticism being your teacher.
I remember in the third grade, I used to create this one character that was this secret agent, but could never figure out how to draw hands to actually grab something. Finally, instead of having her fingers be open, I decided to see what it would be like to bend her fingers, and wa-la, I created a hand that was grabbing something. Just take the time to actually work on improving your art, you'll see the improvements.
It's not bad, but it would have definitely been better to see this scanned rather than having it been from your camera.

Yes, I agree with what Icebaby said. You can't just pick up a pencil and draw a masterpiece; it takes practice. For what it's worth I couldn't draw much better than that when I was eleven. Here's some advice based on this drawing.
- The way her face is drawn makes it look like she's looking up, but the way her chin is angled makes it look like her head facing forward. If you want her to be looking forward then everything should be lower; her eyes should be centered vertically, her mouth should be closer to the bottom of her chin and her nose should be in the center between her eyes and mouth. If you want her to be looking up then you should change that chin. Don't make it so pointy. If she's looking up then her chin point will be facing you, not the ground.
-Try to focus on symmetricality. For example, I noticed that the left arm is thinner and longer than the right, one eye as higher than the other, her left cheek sticks out more than the right one, and the mouth slants upwards as it goes to the right. It she's facing perfectly forward then all of this should match up.
-Most importantly, the entire bottom half needs a lot of work. The legs need to be quite a bit longer. To get the proportions right, if she pointed her arms straight down, her hands would be around mid-thigh, the knees should be at the midpoint between where her legs start (below the pelvis) and where they stop (at the feet). You shouldn't make the feet point inward because that makes her look like Tommy Pickles. Lastly, give her some hips! Her legs should be able to go straight down, but they can't because she has no hips, so they go at that angle. That would also make her not look so top-heavy.

It is not a bad drawing at all. The only thing that catches my eye is that the legs need to be longer. Just keep practicing. if your having trouble with certain parts of the anatomy, try just drawing that part over and over for practice. Also a great tip that I got was to look carefully and really look at the part you having trouble with before you draw it. Practice makes perfect. Keep up the good work!
