Greetings everyone.

After a few months of being removed from the site, the popular fan submission system has returned better than ever before. A proper FAQ is forthcoming from myself, but for now I will give you all an overview of the new system and it's features:

• Now accepting fan art and fan fiction.


• Have access to voting, enlarging and author comments on main thread page itself


• New ratings system to classify images/documents as G, PG, PG13 or R.


• Detailed image/document category displayed on thread page.


• Submit arts and fictions in series format; which will link the works together on the thread pages for easy viewing of past and current works in a single series.

I am personally the most pleased with the new stats page. This not only offers the statistics, but it now doubles as a fan art/fiction search engine. It is very user friendly and requires nothing more than simple clicks on your part.

Examples:

Let's assume you are a Shang Tsung fan and wish to see every fan art/fiction MK Online possesses which relates to Shang. Simply visit the stats page, check the "The Characters" listing and click on "Shang Tsung". You will arrive at a page containing every Shang Tsung submission in our database. The author and rating, along with the title can be found on this page. Every character currently in the MK universe has their own personal page.

Now... let's assume you are a great fan of created character concepts and you wish to see everything this site has to offer on the subject. Visit the stats page and locate the "The Categories" section. Here you will find fan art and fiction categories organized by total in that specific category. Click on the category name and you will be taken to a page with every Created Character Concept in MKO's database. This can be done with any category found on the stats page; fan art or fan fiction.

Once again, the official FAQ itself will return soon. If you have problems submitting art please contact myself or AcjBizar with the problem.

Please remember to use the approved file types when submitting works. For images, .JPG and .PNG are both now acceptable. For text documents, please use .RTF format.

Enjoy the new system and be sure to submit anything that you might have which is not included in the database due to its downtime.

Note: The Stats page will not be truly complete until I place the images into their correct categories. There are some 1500 images so please be patient as I will be doing this by my own hands.
