Blue mist swirls over the Pyramid of Argus, As a Lin Kuei warrior stands alone next to a defeated Blaze and recalls his recent victory
Sub-Zero rushes towards the Pyramid of Argus, Altho honorable in spirit and battle Sub-Zero had to use his icy skills to prevent those from abusing the power the prize would grant. Raising his knee infront of him, the Lin Kuei blasted the steps of Argus with a sheet of ice to prevent anyone from getting to the top.Upon reaching the top of the Pyramid, the Lin Kuei watches as the fire elemental known as Blaze challenges him to Mortal Kombat.

Blaze lets out a loud battle cry towards Sub-Zero "LET MORTAL KOMBAT BEGIN!!" With a deep breath Sub-Zero takes his Shotokan stance and prepares for battle. Blaze rushes towards the Chronomancer, but Sub-Zero dodges the attack by sliding to the side. Blaze turns around in time to see the Lin Kuei jump into the air to deliver a kick to the face, The fire elemental lets loose a roar of anger and swings his powerful fists towards Sub-Zero.

With quick reflexes manages to block the attack, the force of the punch knocked Sub-Zero onto his back. The Lin Kuei lies dazed upon the ground only to see Blaze lumber towards him, the fire elemental jumped into the air in an attempt to crush Sub-Zero. The Cronomancer once again used his ice abilities to create a clone of himself, Blaze smashes into the ice clone and his feet sizzle from the ice. The hot air causes some discomfort to the Lin Kuei as he stands up away from Blaze.

With another roar Blaze rolls up into a ball and charges towards Sub-Zero, The Lin Kuei manages to escape the attack by flipping over the hulking body. As Sub-Zero lands he notices that his clothes are singed, looking up towards Blaze, he cups his hands and fires a blast of ice towards the elementals face. The blast hits Blaze square in the face causing him to reach for his face, as the distraction gives Sub-Zero a limited time to act. The ice warrior runs towards Blaze and then forms a path of ice to increase his speed, Sub-Zero charges into Blaze knocking him backwards, The Lin Kuei increases his attack by jumping up to send a kick to his flaming chest and then finishes with a sledgehammer punch. Blaze falls to the ground and holds on to his chest and quickly disolves into lava only to reappear behind the Lin-Kuei and grab him.

Sub-Zero watches in anticipation as Blaze melts into the ground, thoughts roam in his mind "have I won" not a second later two burning hands grip onto his body and squeezes him. Sub-Zero screams in agony as Blaze burns his flesh, next thing the Lin Kuei remembers is getting tossed to the other side of the area. Sub-Zero bounces off the warm room before crawling to his knees, he looks down to see his chest horribly burned, the flesh charred black and parts of his outfit burned with his flesh. Sub-Zero shakingly presses his hands to his body and covers his skin with the cool feeling of ice. With the pain somewhat relieved Sub-Zero manages to stand once again to fight, taking his stance once again the Lin Kuei prepares his next stragedy.

Blaze roars to the sky and charges the cold fighter yet again, a cracking and freezing sensation forms at his chest as Blaze makes his way to Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero starts firing blast after blast towards Blaze in order to slow him down, the sound of the fire fighting against the ice brings some satisfaction to the Lin Kuei. When Blaze gets closer towards Sub-Zero, a grin appears on the Lin Kuei's burnt mask, Sub-Zero leaps over Blaze amd quickly forms his Kori blade from air, he twists his body around to bring the blade into the back of Blaze. Hot blood gushes from the wound and splashes onto Sub-Zeros body, the blood burns his flesh and ignites some parts of his clothes but his onslaught does not cease.

Sub-Zero continues to slash at Blaze onto his arms scream with pain and his sword melted. Blaze feels his end come to hand as the Lin Kuei slashes his vitals from the back, the ice warrior was fierce and held on dispite his wounds, with his life blood splashed on the floor Blaze knew he would not last any longer. Sub-Zero holds onto his chest with one hand and slowly but readily raises his other, a blast of ice flies from his hands until the fire elemental becomes incased in solid ice. The Lin Kuei warrior stumbles towards the statue and forms a ball of ice, he throws the ball and watches as it shatters Blaze into thousands of pieces.

Using his empressive skills in Kombat, Sub-Zero finaly defeated Blaze with cold fury. Upon being bestowed the godlike powers from the elementals broken body, Sub-Zero's own body begins to change. His wounds begin to heal and his damaged flesh peels off revealing a shiny lumenius blue skin.

he destruction of the battle is great, every warrior fell one after another. Standing in the middle of the Pyramid, The Lin Kuei warrior stretches his arms outright and causes a massive Ice Shaker freezing the entire pyramid and it's warriors to show the strength and bravery of every fighter for eternity.

Unknown to Sub-Zero one warrior remains alive, A former Lin Kuei walks up the stairs to take what should rightfully be hers. Frost looks down at her changed body and laughs
