Way back when (February) I made this concept to try and recreate the death scene from Reptile's MK4 ending

I am now going to reveal the second attempt I made and some sprite editing

With what I've learned so far in sprite editing I went ahead and gave it a third shot:

Pretty good, 2 things: The hand looks too cartoony, and the spires from the Scorpion's Lair (or Hell i'm not sure) stage is unnecessary. Otherwise, i love the stage.

HAHAHA APRIL FOOLS!! You got me. Ha.... wait. Oh lord have mercy! Time to give it a fourth shot, girl. Has this what it's come down to for you? Senselessly throwing around random props to construct a terrible version of MK Gold's Netherrealm throne room? saiZero you've obviously hit the equivalent to writer's block in your fake pic career when it comes to arenas.

The good:
- The improvement of Reptile's sprite. A lot better (but could be better)
- The improvement of Shinnok's sprite.
- The tears in the draping MK Flags
- The improvement of the texture on the skeleton hand

The bad:
- The arena is pure shit.
- Reptile's chest is supposed to be an off-white color. Look at his render.
- All you did was darken the uniform on Reptile rather than making the squares look as they should
- The metal chastity belt (lol) and his shin pads are very blurry.
- You resized Shinnok's head from his VS pose rather than trying to draw your own or draw over the existing head to improve it as you did the rest of the sprite
- you resized Reptile's head from one of his MK4 renders. I appreciate you drawing his mouth open, but still... try to do your own head.

Suggestions:
- Throw away that god damned MKM sprite, will you? We've asked this before and are quite serious about it.
- Throw away the arena and do what Veno told you to (Reptile's Lair from Armageddon). Perfect it, and you won't regret it.
- Look at the pictures below. You can use Nightwolf's pose for one of THREE things. Lifting reptile up like his true ending, or summon the skeleton hand. If you just can't do Shinnok at all, throw him out like his real MK4 ending (he disappears in the ground) and just leave the hand.
- If you leave out Shinnok, at least impress us with another Quan Chi sprite edit. This one can be drawn from my favorite base sprite: Shang Tsung. He can be standing there observing what's happening. Laughing at least. Quan Chi is a sick demented sorcerer after all.
- I suggest you do both sprites, a real representation of the ending. Have Shinnok summon the hand so you can challenge yourself with drawing the hand as well. Try to make it more skeletal looking and not so blurry. Get rid of the fire ring around the original hand so there's only bone left.

You just turned a complete 180 degrees with this one, girl. You were on such a roll now you hit a wall.

Good luck.

It looks good at first, but when you focus in on it it looks worse.

i had to read ur post like 10 times bs...
i think IF i try shinnok or quan chi again, it will be after i get more practice.
i just cant visualize turning nightwolf into a character he doesnt even resemble. its like i have to draw everything fro, scratch. same with shang into quan chi.
