Well, at least you went on to do some editing. The blood is okay, but it could use some work, like on Scorpion's clothing. I don't like the lighting you did on the skull area of the background.
It's not the best, but definitely not the worse I've seen around here.
Just try to come up with some original ideas (like a fatality) which will push you to do more editing, or maybe even make a custom sprite.

Great job. Totally brutal. I love the blood and the Jax sprite, but I'm not so sure about Scorpion. I admit it could be a little better, but it's hella good as it is.

Also, I absolutely love that background.
