My problem isnt the pose its the actual model, which I know is not your fault. The texture of the actual costume like the fabric is off by alot, in the real render it was a quilted texture, in this one its a bunch of squares. Thats the only problem. Maybe you could tell the guy who made the model.

Id like to see what you can do with this though, maybe a Scorpion vs Sub Zero scene.

Is this model ripped from MK vs. DCU game?

I don't understand why mortalkombatonline.com would allow, nay, reward posting artwork, that isn't yours... yet they do not allow posting magazine articles...

I'm confused.

No see someone created this model is based of the MK vs DC outfit. The model was created to be used with a program. The user downloaded the model and posed it in a background using the program.
So it his, he created it.

It's still not HIS model. Nor is it his background. Although Sean, a fan made model, as well as rendering it, falls under fair use. But posting a magazine article isn't, and therefore puts MKO at risk of legal trouble.

the models still belongs to Midway [neatherrealm studios], but was extracted from MKvsDCU by a Member of Tomb Raider Forums to use in the non prophit program XNA lara, created by another member of tomb Raider Forums, we are allowed to use the models in our artwork as long as we don't use it to make prophit, but sadly XNA lara cannot use ALL the different bump maps [what make bumps or cloths stick out of the texture]

I see,
so its as simple as extracting the render?
why cant you extract your own then

I thought someone would scan/upload images of a character and create a model out of it.

So does the game company give out the Model, or would you just pull it out of the game somehow.
I have no clue

Members are allowed to use official artwork in submissions, such as edits or wallpaper creations. We generally frown upon using someone else's original models or artwork without permission however. If this is from the game itself, then it's free use.

no it's the Actualy charactor model FROM the game, as in a Data File not render/artwork, the program we use creates "bones" or points on the body we can pose and move, allowing me to create original poses i make myself, then can save a screenshot as alpha [like a render cut out for a sig] and can place on either photos from internet or a background model in XNA lara, such as a building or scenary from another game , such as Croft Manor or Natla's Ship from Tomb Raider Underworld. the model is still property of the company but we can use them in XNA lara
