I tried to replicate the super team special move that Liu and Lao performed in the SM trailer.

For starters, i haven't seen any mk:sm footage or images, just keeping it for a surprise till it comes out...so i can't critique this according to that anyways..
Pretty nice stuff here ultimateryu. Although like someone else mentioned it is kinda hard to understand what's going on in the image itself, but after taking a stare at it for a few minutes i am beginning to get the gist of it and the whole of it. Basically you just tried to create past and present and future effects in motion in one image itself. At first, i thought there was quan chi's head in the background, but it turned out to be the face in the tree, haha.
I like the effects of kung lao's hat going in circles and how the contrast is adjusted, maybe some more splatter from liu's blast? it's just going through, maybe also you could get the tarkatan's arm's instead of just lying there, have them fly around in the air spinning or something like that kung lao's hat effect for the arms would be nice as well. There's one more thing i'm confused with, is the object that appears to be at the top left of the screen, the somewhat tarkatan that appears in midair, not sure where he came from.
Anyways, good job, 3.5/5.
Peace.
