I really love your style. I love anime so course it helps the apreciation for your design. First of, let me be the first to tell you that I love how you make the hair. So far I haven't seing anyone drawing and coloring hair that good. The overall ninja style design is superb.
Amazing job there. 5/5.

Love the style here. The color is really good!! The angles strokes along with the color in the background make her stand out. The pose and the eyes tell alot about her.

Really, this deserves a 5/5 rating and so, you have one from me.

This is probably the best art I've seen in a while, this character is just awesome looking. The dark feel to the picture as a whole just gives it just an awesome feel. And yeah, the hair is out of control with how good it is. I'm looking forward to seeing her twin. grin

This is so great. The detail you have put in this picture is amazing. I love the hair. The claws are really cool too. She is only 8? Crazy. Keep up the good work.

Pretty cool, seems like a warrior that would fit into the mk universe. I think the black really stands out on her, especially with her red hair. 4/5.

Well you know how much I dig the hair. The anatomy as usual is great except for one part. I can't quite tell which direction that back leg is going. It looks like it's turned in but there isn't quite enough detail to tell.

The claws out of the tips of the fingers is unusual. I would expect them from the nails but I guess it's a mutation. wink

Beautiful composition. The whole thing from foreground to background is well put together.

That's damn good. I just find it a bit odd that her hair is real looking while the rest of the character is more flat. But, I think this is your best.

Kweeeeee! ^__________^ Ich spürze die Liebe jetzt! :3 Danke danke danke alles!

MaxDam: Thanks. ^_^ The technique for the hair just keeps improving; I once look back at my first creation of it with this method, and WOW did I see a difference o_o Amazing what the Contrast sladier can do for detail :D Thank you for your compliments! You have no idea how much they are appreciated. :3

ghostdragon: Thank you :) I'm glad you like what I did with the background; I'm always nervous on whether or not I made the right choice, and it's nice to know I have in this case.

The_Truth: I'm glad you like it. ^_^ It may be a while before I get to finishing her twin, but I have hopes it'll be worth the wait. :3

borne-again-vampire: Yessum, 8 meaning I created her 8 years ago. I think she's around her early 20s, age-wise, in this picture, based on how her story/epic goes. *nods*

Dark_No0b: Thank you for your kind words. :}

RaMeir: Her left leg is the one that's fully extended, and it's just straight down from her hip with a slight inward curve. Her Right leg is moving forward as she's lifting it, and thus she is basically running towards the viewer; hope that helps some. I don't detail black well... ^^;;
Re: the claws, cat claws extend out from the foremost tips of the "digits", whereas the fingernails rest on the top and protrude out from the middle of the final joint of the finger. Therefore it seemed to fit that she could have both, especially since people without finger or toe nails just seem weird when noticed. o0 Thanks so much for your thoughts :) I always enjoy hearing from you!

JAX007: Yeah, I'm still working on how to even the two out. 0o It'll happen someday, though :) Thanks for your kind words!

This is the sort of female character than belongs in future Mortal Kombat games. No cleavage or skimpy outfits, just a character ready to do battle. Not that I think it'll ever happen, but I'm allowed to have my dreams.

Anyhow, the drawing itself is wonderful, of course. I happen to think the cloth's texture matches the great detail of the hair. As I mentioned, this is the kind of attire I like to see. Long sleeves with a nice flame design, face partially hidden, nice shiny black boots, its perfect. Great work, I hope to see more of your work appear on this forum soon... ^-^

Merow(hello)
Ooo I like her, not just she's got a cat//animal theme to her. ;)
I really like how you didn't go the standard 'let make her orange and black' but picked reds, yellows and blacks.
She looks very sly and firey. Which I think more MK women need.

I also really enjoy the colouring on it =)
Good work!!

Pretty cool. I like how she is conservative, and is wearing something very original. It would be nice to have at least one conservative gal in the game. But i would still like to see more voluptuous females. But at least one of these kinds would be great. awesome job.

RaMeir: Yeah, I've felt a lot better about my art lately. :) I'd post more if I drew more. ^^;; I don't do a lot of MKesque art, even when I do draw anyhow. *nods* But yeah, I won't be so afraid to post anymore :3 *dances*

TomTaz: Thanks much ^_^ I'm certain you will.

Crow: *censored* ^_~-<3

wingedsiamese: Nyo :3 Yeah well... I used the red-orange marker when I first created her, but I guess it dried out or something and I used the yellow-orange instead and I never gave it a second thought XDDD But yeah, originally she was a dirty blonde and then I turned her into a red-head a couple of years ago. I'm starting to wonder why I never threw any white in there. 0o But yes, she's very firey XD In all ways ^_^ Just like her brother ^_~

buterbals113085: Yes, wouldn't it, though? It might just be me but I think they're marketing to the crowd that isn't old enough to buy the game anyway. o.O;; Thanks for your thoughts. :)

born-again-vampire: How about, the women are allowed to wear very little *cough*nothing*cough*, and the guys have to be Mr. Universe and wear only thongs. *nods* How's that for a game proposition? XD

The only nitpick I have with it are those claws -- nails are an ALTERNATIVE to claws on creatures, as are hooves to claws and nails. It looks STRANGER to have them both than to have, say, extending claws and no fingernails. Its almost ... redundant, and I think its noticed as being so subconciously. Besides, since you're doing anime, you can make it look "less" strange on paper than it would look in reality.

You could always make her hands PAWS, yet with an apposable thumb to give her primatable abilities, yet keeping her ... feline-ness, and claws. Just a thought.

On positive notes -- I love the hair. How'd you do it? Hair brush? It's rather nice. wink

This reminds me of some of that early concept art of Kintaro, the tiger person. Anyone seen that? Very good stuff!

I'd love to see her in an MK game.

4 and a half from me. grin

Havraha: They are an alternative, yes, but since this isn't a world where EVERYONE is like her, and instead her kind are many 0.001% of the entire world's population, and her creation is meant to remain a secret, it'd serve a better purpose to have the fingernails along WITH the claws. The claws are retractable, so in a regular line up you couldn't tell she is what she is. The goal here is to make her as human as possible on the outside but to have her as feline as possible on the physical inside. She's a man-made creation that's meant to blend in with the general public, and yet be superior at the same time. She's not in some anime universe where everyone's the same; she's in -our- world, with microwaves and cell phones and leg warmers and aerobic workouts and sky-rocketing gas prices. So, no, she can't have paws; she's human, not anthro. :) The closest she has are callused palms and fingertips.
I do appreciate your insight though :) It's nice to know people actually read the descriptions and think about what's said and ask about it.

Regarding the hair, check my post in the Artist's Advice thread that was made yesterday, about ArtLair.com. It's where I learned my technique.

Thanks for you thoughts! ^_^
