Simple Portrait - Kabal

Artist's Remarks:

I was very elated once I discovered the news that Kabal would be a character in MKD. The only two things that would have made me happier would be Shao Kahn, and a version of the game on Gamecube. Anywho, in celebration, I painted this rather simple portrait of good ole Kabal. Nothing fancy here, but its a painting ... and its MK ... so why not upload? ;-) I think I made Kabal a tad more muscular than he usually is.

Very well done. You can paint perfectly. The face has a good look to it and the hair is great. You have made some great paintings on this site, and I wish you well in the future.

I really like your technique. I think you did a real good job. The only thing i could say is that the face looks a little flat. I really like the hair. Excellent job.

Thanks! Actually, the spot was missed on purpose. You see, his mask is broken there. You can tell I missed it on purpose because, well, it's PAINTED HIS SKIN TONE there. I originally had a peice of his goggles broken off to where one, crazy, BULGING bloodshot out was visible, looking at you all freaky like. But i couldn't paint it well enough. It looked really cartoony, so I painted a complete goggle over it. :-\
