Hey, this is the intro paragraph i wrote a while ago for the MkO Fan Fic kontest. I decided to open the story with how Sindel killed herself, because it was always said that she commited suicide before she was reborn on earth, but it never said how she did it. The story was mainly going to be able Kitana in Mk2, i never got to finish it in time for the Kontest because i didnt want to rush it. If ppl like this i might continue it further. I cant wait to see what ppl think about it.
At the peak of Midnight Queen Sindel climbed to the highest tower of the once exiting Edenian palace. She was so high from the ground Sindel could feel the air getting thinner and thinner in her now struggling lungs. When she finally arrived atop of the tower, now breathing even heavier as wave of emotions swept threw her, images of her young daughter Kitana and husband Jerrod. She tightly clamped her eyes shut, bowing her head as a tear rolled off her face dropping past her now clinched fist. Within this fist her razor sharp nails dug into her palm, but this pain and blood rush didnt compare to the pain she felt within. Hesitating, she quickly remembers why shes up there in the first place, and what she would be returning to if she were to back out now, the spiteful man that is Shao Khan. At that moment she straightens her back and spreads her arms out as if she had wings and takes the leap of fate. As she dives towards the ground with her arms now by her side, she closes her eyes for the last time. With a trail of hair following her, the cold air starts to speed up, hitting her face as if she was being stabbed by a thousand needles, but before the pain became unbearable she hit. Her head hit the ground first, completely crushing her skull all the way down to her shoulders. The immense pressure causes her coiled spine to rip threw her skin as if it were rice paper. Her now jelly like body stagers in the air for about thirty seconds before it slowly plunges to the ground, a spewing pool of blood and soggy brains.
Years since this event took place, Kitana sits straight up from a distraught sleep with a visible cold sweat. Many of nights she dreamt of such things, but still not knowing exactly who this woman was. The thought of this woman being her mother never even crossed her mind for she was always told that she was just a perfected clone of her twin sister, the treacherous Mileena. Mileena was tainted for her DNA was fogged with a mix of Tarkata and human blood. The Tarkata half of her took the better of her face, giving wrinkles and a huge mouth full of shark like teeth, this forced her to wear a mask to conceal those unwanted features. Aside from her face, Mileena had one of the most desirable bodies, made to lure in the enemy and eliminate just as easy. Curvy, tight, and petite, but still flawed, this has always limited her to be a rank below Kitana in Shao Khans trio of assassins.
