The dragons mouth looks bad, it's just simply pasted over the bolt of flame. Otherwise it could use a bit more detailed background.

I really like the fire, looks great imo, and the pic looks very clean.

The only bad thing is that the fire doesnt look like its coming from inside the dragon, a copy/paste. Still, its a great fire effect, and that was what you were testing.

Hey, I'm glad you liked my fire effect! Yours looks great too. Ok. Here are some suggestions you could try. Try making the fire look more flaming with liquify and blur effects,and play with lots of layers and blending options. Don't know how many layers you're using here, but in my pic I could easily have 10 to 15 layers exclusively for the fire effect. You could make Nightwolf a bit more visible and with some bright lightning effect on him. Also duplicate Nightwolf layers and use effects (blur works good here) on him and change opacities and blending opions. And you could use some fire layers over the dragon's mouth and play with opacity so the fire doesn't look it's coming from behind of the mouth. Well, that's it, I guess... Keep up the work!

How did you make the fire?

It's cool, but it looks like Kang is pulling one of those "put the hose behind your mouth to make it look like you're projectile vomiting." He looks like he's in the foreground of the flame. The flame effects are cool as well, but it looks like you just used a brush (not saying that you actually did do this) and didn't pay much attention to how a flame actually looks. Maybe some more licking tongues, or any for that matter. Good start though. 3/5

It's good, but it kind of bothers me that the dragon is facing down, an with the fire coming out curves up, so it doesn't look all that natural. But, again, very good.
