First, the good:
-Great idea mixing the ninja and cyborg look together
- The design was executed well, I can tell what you're shooting for
-The legs, particularly the feet, are lined up well

And now, the bad:
-Anatomically, this drawing is way off. Study up on the way the human body is built and how its moves and overlaps itself.
-Try to keep things as symmetrical as possible when drawing at a straight-on angle like this. One side of his jawbone is lower than the other. His midriff band looks wonky.

All together, I see potential here. 3.5/5

Ok so,
A nice idea. But, poor anatomy and almost nil shading makes it look totally flat, the asst. cyborg/ninja stuff doesn't mix well and it makes the pic seem very cluttered, the dangling harpoon really doesn't look right to me and overall it looks pretty plain, which probably ties into the "nil shading" part a bit.

So, I guess that'll make a 1/5, but I'm also betting you can do alot better with some effort, dude.

Ouch. Kinda harsh there, but I appreciate the commentary, at any rate. Anyhoo, my works submitted from now on will be shaded, promise - although I haven't done that in quite some time. This thing was done while I was on a bus, out of boredom, and I lost the will to elaborate on it further when Smoke became visible to the public. Maybe that's why it sucks so. That, and anatomy's never been too strong a point for me. :P

Smoke, one of my favorite characters (as a ninja)... But I am sorry, I really do not like it.

The base of the drawing just isn't good, I have seen your work and know you can do better then that. I am not trying to sound harsh, but it is the truth.

What I thought was good about this was that you were trying to make a new look, a new style, to Smoke. But unfortunately, it isn't the kind of style that I was looking foward to.

That exposed face is what the cyborgs should look like under the helmet, not a normal guy that hasn't changed one bit like Cyrax's alt in MKDA. The veins in the arm is a nice effect also.

Smoke aint the easiest to draw? Crabman, he's no harder to draw than the other 10,000 MK ninjas!

Actually, since they weren't not talking about the classic Human Smoke, he doesn't count among the multitudes of MK Ninja, being a robot and all. Also, since DA, the characters have all gained fairly complex outfits and therefore the argument that ANY character is difficult to draw is totally valid.
