Whilst I agree with your comments about the pieces missing, (I realize that it would have looked better if he was completely filled in) I was going for a kind of comic look, so the background is supposed to be a very close-up shot of his suit, but not fully colored in on the inside, hence the white parts. But thank you for the comments anyway.
