Sprite Editing Help thread

I was throughly astonished to see that there are no stickies(or in general long threads)on sprite editng.So i have made this thread post any tips or tutorials you have on sprite editing and hopefully someone will answer(i can do some simple sprite editing like making MK2 jax into MK3 jax)I will post the first tip.

If you are using paint to edit sprites make sure to use the magnifying glass it lets you edit the sprites more specificly.

I wouldn't worry Arctic it's going to take more than a few tips and tutorials to have them sprite editing as good as you.

Hm, even if there were tutorials and guides to sprite editing people would still output crap. Trust me, its happened many times. Heh reminds me of when I was working on a tutorial around this time last year but I lost the motivation to continue it when a few prospects, who had the pre-drafts of my tutorial, couldn't handle the extreme precision my techniques demand.

Oh sorry, I should have mentioned, it's for Photoshop users. I suppose anyone could use the basic idea of the tutorial for any other programme but I wrote it specifically for Photoshop.
