OK Imma going to sound like a total idiot, but here goes:

What is a sprite and what is it for? Im not very computer fluent so I need to have it explained. Thanks.

Sprites are characters from MK games. Or Other games.. They can be props, stage's , characters. Whatever.

Sprites= Ripped game things.

Backgrounds aren't sprites, and "Ripped Game things" is not the right definition. Sprites are two-dimensional objects in a game that are not stationary and can move freely, such as the fighters in MK or Mario and Enemies in the Mario games.

Thanks alot yall. I havent got to watch any links yet, because Im at my dadds house. Hes Amish so he has dial up. LOL Really Im using windows 1895.
