Stealing art

i, as well as many others, have noticed people stealing art made by othersfurious. *cough no names will be mentioned, but i had a pm chat with maxdam and me and him came to the conclusion that every one must water mark their work.

it makes no sense not to, just to make sure no one else can take it. just take a minute to water mark a special symbol that others will recognize or your name just for them to notice. the only real exception are fake contests or voting artwork. hence how one of maxdams arts were taken.

in conclusion have a special mark or something to have everyone notice your AND YOUR work only. thanks for listening to all of this.

anyways if sum1 really wanted to steal ur work they could just crop or color ur name or symbol out.

That doesn't matter.

And doing that is illegal.

The creator still has their original work, and in some cases such as people working with Photoshop, there are layers upon layers of work done in .PSD format and it can be up to a 20meg filesize or larger.

All they would need to do is show that proof and the person ripping them off would be completely screwed if they wanted to pursue it any further.
