Even though I haven't really used these characters, that is awesome! It's cool to see the fanbase going out of their way to make these costumes. Great find!

Yes, Sindel has good combos, it's harder to get the higher damage with her, but she's very fun with her levitation cancels, and whippin' dat hurr.

I've been tinkering with her a bit and I love the queen, I'm thinking of using her a lot more.




As for Sheeva, I've been using her for about a year, she's very awkward and clunky to use, it's not just you, even offline. I thought it was just because I wasn't good, but even now she feels that way, too slow and too awkward. Jade's considered "garbage" tier, but I find her feeling much more fluid to use.

Sindel is very fun, I recommend taking her for a spin, she's not as bad as people say she is and Sheeva's worth a shot too, but she's a bit awkward, especially at the beginning.

I want that cosplay costume for Sheeva in game lol. I'd love to see a big collection of all the female cosplayers, they had the perfect Jade and Mileena tandem at one event too, both were perfect, spot on with everything.
Edit Note: I'd also like to see a collection of the males too, but I haven't seen many male MK cosplayers to be honest.

I still do very well with Sheeva online, and despite playing as many other characters, Sheeva remains my main. Yes, she's sluggish in a way, but I found that if you adjust, she's a powerhouse in the right hands. She has all the tools she needs to go toe-to-toe with anyone, but due to her learning curve, and the lack of immediate feedback she gives players, too many people just don't play to her strengths.

To quote a phrase I heard, "something is wrong with this basketball. It's not going in the hoop!" All depends on the one handling her. She's the rocky road of Mortal Kombat's ice cream flavors; most prefer chocolate or vanilla, but for those that like her flavor, she's a delicious treat in the game.

As for the chicks in the video you posted- Sheeva was great, loved her poses! Sindel was okay-ish at best imo.

Sheeva and Kano are two underexposed characters I prefer in gameplay. Smoke, my man, was underexposed until he got a reboot to the elbow and redeemed himself. Still I keep playing as Smoke as usual. Either Sheeva or Sindel should have performed a live Fatality, just for a good show.

I'm not saying she's bad or anything, not at all. I've beaten Kung Laos, Raidens, and Kabals with Sheeva, but for me, I feel like most of her combos are just so slow the exception of stuff like 12,back 1 and her 2,1,2,forward 1 combo.

She's a devastating character with a steeper learning curve and I like a challenge (80% of my characters are considered bottom tier or garbage Sindel, Jade, Stryker).

I mean Stryker is one of the slower characters, but with time, he feels natural to me now.

My thoughts on Sheeva come from nearly a year of use, winning against her bad match ups and losing hard, really hard.

I know some tricks and how to pressure with her, I will always use Sheeva because I love the character.

I just wish she was a tiny bit quicker( not asking for Sonya quick, maybe more like Stryker speed) and most of her moves are very situational, like the low grab, ground pound, and anti-air grab.

Her fireball is balanced good though, slower speed, but much higer damage is a good trade. The command grab and telestomp are good too.

I loved how the Sheeva girl actually got to move all of her arms. Even though I could see the strings. Oh well still a fantastic costume.
