i like this 1. sub-zeros alt is good. but the backfround look a bit weird.

The background is amazing, you get full score from me for that.
HOWEVER, I really do not like the way you did the sprites. I understand Hotaru and that alt of subby must be a bitch to make, but it looks like you just roughly recoloured sprites with a thick brush. They almost look like crayola drawings. On the upside, their poses are well-chosen and the effects you used to freeze Hotarus feet makes them look perfect. The little shards of ice on the ground contrast very well with all the sweet blood in the backgrond.
overall a pleasing job. 3/5

Lmao...I love the look hotaru has on his face, its like hes thinking " oh f*ck what am I going to do now?". but if he can defy gravity with that whirl kick he probably doesnt need legs

This is a good fake. The sprites look too cartoony though, specially the one of Sub-Zero, but the Hotaru one looks the best. I like it.

The background is the best thing of your fake but the pilars are too blury. Good job. Keep trying and you will improve.
