Sub-Zero vs Scorpion (the final fight)

This fight takes place immediately after armageddon under the pretext that scorpion killed blaze.
Sub-zero was ready to finally settle his long delayed score with scorpion. He was very anxious as he slowly walked through the army of scorpion's warriors, to the pyramid of Argus, to face his arch nemesis. The clouds began to darken, rain poured down. Sub-Zero’s face mask was covered in rain drops that began to freeze. Scorpion stood proudly in the center on the pyramid following sub-zero’s eyes as he walked up the steps. Next to scorpion laid the body of blaze. Sub-Zero briefly glanced at the fallen giant. Still he advanced towards scorpion.
Immediately, without breaking his stare scorpion jumped, leg extended to kick sub-zero. Sub Zero dodged, and in one fluid motion grabbed his leg and smacked him to the ground. Scorpion quickly flew back up and swung at sub-zero.
The punch connected. Sub Zero was briefly disoriented. When he came to, a furious scorpion was attempting another jump kick. Quickly he extended his hands to intercept the kick. It was successful, whitish blue clear veins of ice crept up scorpions leg, covering it in ice as sub zero held on longer. Scorpion broke the hold and furiously rubbed his leg. Scorpion shouted loudly in a low gruff and echo-y voice: “GET OVER HERE”
A long rope with a bloodied spike flew out of a small unnatural opening in the palm of scorpion’s hand. It flew so fast it blurred its target: sub zero.
Sub Zero didn’t flinch instead he positioned his arms in a small vertical arc off to the sides of his hips, his hand were covered in a clear icy mist flying around in an atom-like motion. The spear neared sub zero’s face.
In a violent jerk, Sub-Zero’s hand shot up and caught the speared rope.
Scorpion was stunned no one had ever done that before. The rope began to freeze, leading back to scorpion’s hand. His hand and arm began to freeze, the Ice spread all over scorpion’s body like a visible infection. Pretty soon the ice crept up to scorpion’s neck. Sub zero walked over to scorpion who was now on his knees staring up at sub zero. The ice was now covering his mouth and forehead closing in on scorpion’s fear filled eyes. Sub Zero waited until the ice completely covered scorpion. Then Sub zero mercilessly crushed scorpion’s head in on itself. Sub-zero the turned to the thousands of distraught ninja warriors who faithfully followed scorpion’s rule. Sub Zero assumed a Victory pose, as all the warriors stripped off their yellow armor because now they would no longer follow scorpion, they would don the blue armor of the Lin kuei. Sub Zero was now the reigning champion of mortal Kombat.

My thought on this story was that it was great. Even though I am a big Scorpion fan, I liked how the story ended stragely. The beginning of the story where Sub-Zero was walking through Scorpion's warriors was good, but I think you could have gone into more detail on how the Warrior's looked and how there reaction was apon seeing Sub-Zero walking past them onto there leader. The rain falling as Sub-Zero walked up the steps was a very good touch and I liked the detail when it said "Sub-Zero’s face mask was covered in rain drops that began to freeze". I liked the the story from there because of the detail and good grammar that went into the fight. I enjoyed the rest of the story. This was well written and I think you should continue writing stories. You deserve dp's in my opinion and I rate this 9/10
