In Edenia, Twelve-thousand five hundred years ago, the Elder God Argus, created the three Dragons: Onaga, Orin, and Caro. They always gave excellent help to protect Edenia, and it was appreciated my Delia and Argus. Throughout the millennia, many tried to defeat the three Dragons, but all were inevitably unsuccessful. However, Onaga was special in a way, to Argus. He was the first of the Dragons to be created, and Argus felt he should empower Onaga with the gift that ONLY an Elder God could possess, or give: immortality. Onaga was the only Dragon, who was given this gift. However, it had unforeseen effects, which were immensely disastrous.

Onaga grew hungry with power, and turned to the side of evil. In a surprise annihilation, he destroyed numerous Elder Gods. This left Delia and Argus shocked with rage, and Argus thought of a way to punish Onaga for his treacherous betrayal: Argus reduced Onaga to a half human form. Though still a dragon, he was forced to live in a body that appeared as an abomination. He was banished to the Netherrealm, but escaped with his magic. It was a very unsuccessful attempt, as it took only days for Onaga to discover how to escape this realm of damnation. He did not lose any power, as most did in the Netherrealm.

Onaga could not go back to Edenia, for Argus’s magic had prevented him to enter. However, no one, not even an Elder God, could take away the gift of immortality. So, Onaga was left with this gift, and unfortunately, he used it to his advantage. Onaga conquered Outworld, and became the new ruler. Shao Kahn, grew furious at this Dragon ruling over the realm, and plotted his assassination. Though Onaga was invincible to most forms of magic and strength, there was one magic that allowed one to temporarily disable one of their immortality; not even the Gods knew of this, it was a magic created by the forces of evil.

Pretending to be an honorable soldier in the forces of evil, Shao Kahn became Onaga’s most trusted warrior. He always gave a great amount of assistance to Onaga, and fought in Onaga’s wars to conquer the realm. Shao Kahn discovered the magic used to temporarily strip one of their immortality, and decided that, he would enchant a cup of wine, and give it to Onaga to drink. Onaga was no fool, but none can prevent the element of surprise. After a battle was won by the forces of evil, Onaga celebrated with all his militia. Onaga, unknowingly drank the glass of wine, and only in a few hours... Onaga was found dead. He was numbed with magic, and slain with a blade.

Many were suspicious of Shao Kahn. He made an obvious attempt to try to become the new ruler, after Onaga had fallen. On other thoughts too, Onaga’s warriors knew that only a member of superior class, could have the honor of even handling the ruler’s wine. Ermac, an Outworld warrior with the power of telekinesis, looked in to Shao Kahn’s mind, and saw what astonished him: He found out that Shao Kahn was indeed the one, who killed Onaga. Ermac shared this information with the Outworld warriors, and they decided to rise up; and destroy Shao Kahn. However, despite the combined force of those who opposed... none were successful in ending Shao Kahn’s reign.

It is now, thousands of years later. Armageddon has begun, with Mortal Kombat destroying the realms. Even those who fought for good, are opposed against, now. Onaga has risen again, he has been resurrected. He is furious about Raiden destroying his army, and knows that, Shao Kahn is the one who killed him. He has vowed to destroy him, and enslave him in eternal damnation. He has killed Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, betraying them in the midst of battle. Their temporary alliance, was destroyed. Onaga found Kahn trying to reach Blaze, and surprised him. He snatched Shao Kahn at the top of Blaze’s pyramid, and defeated him, by ripping out his heart, and he absorbed his soul.

Armageddon has not been finished. Onaga plans to destroy Blaze, and rule more than just one mere realm... but achieve the power... of an Elder God. He is going to once more resurrect his army, defeat the Forces Of Light, and he even formed a new alliance, with the only one he could trust... Shinnok. With his magic abilities, he restored Shinnok’s power, and he was the perfect ally for Onaga. They even defeated Fujin, all the Earthrealm warriors, and even the original champion of the first new Mortal Kombat: Liu Kang. The fight has only begun. In a matter of extremely short time, Onaga will rule the realms, and achieve this power by winning against Blaze, in Mortal Kombat!!
