We're making a very large fake composed of approxmately 50 panels that will cover the history of Mortal Kombat.
Each panel is composed of a fake that replicates famous battles in the history of MK(Mk1-Mk6) or any other madeup ones that an artist thinks would be cool. Each artist can be assigned a mortal kombat tournament(with proper backgrounds and characters) and a battle to be made in their own stylized way (even with made-up fatalities if they so desire).
Different fan artists can each make two screens and then host it on image shack or any other convenient site and submit their link to me (pm or email). When all pieces of work have been submitted, I will then download all the art onto my hard drive, put it together and polish it nicely and then find a host for it. It would be a unique showcasing of a huge variety of techniques and talents of us fan artists. Im thinking every art creation can be linked to another one through portal special effects.
Make sure to signup in this thread, check out who's doing what in the next paragraph, and call out what pieces you're working on so that there are no duplicates. And if you absolutely have to put your name on it, try to make it small so that the final piece of artwork as a whole stands out as a Mortal Kombat Community Project. I hope more will join us! It's going to be an awesome piece of art.
