If you want to be in it, sign up here, no restrictions. The entire MKO community will judge the submitted work. So there's no need to request being a judge. I will summarize and tally each vote, but I myself will not be kompeting in this tourney. The rules are simple: (current phase in green)

-There will be only 1 round, meaning only 1 fake can be submitted by each kontestant, so make it count. (no animations or drawings, just fakes)

-There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners...
-1st Place: 5 DP's + a custom trophy signature + bragging rights
-2nd Place: 3 DP's
-3rd Place: 2 DP's

-Signups will end on Friday (8/18) @ 11:59pm EST

-I will post the fake specifications that following day, on Saturday (8/19).

-You will then have 1 week to complete and submit your work to my email. (ultimateryu4@hotmail.com) The deadline is Saturday (8/26) @ 11:59 pm EST

-Each submitted fake will then be posted that following day, on Sunday (8/27). Public voting is then opened. Kontestant names will be witheld from each fake to avoid biasy.

-Every unique vote will count until the deadline 3 days later on Wednesday (8/30) @ 11:59pm EST.

-On Thursday (8/31) the winners will be announced along with their fakes.
The award ceremony commences.

Fake specifications
-Animations and drawings are not allowed, it must be a fake. And It must be purely a Mortal Kombat fake, no cross-overs
-It can be of any action (Eg. fatality, special move, punch/kick, etc)
-The sprites and BG's have to be from the same era (Eg. MK1 Vs MK3 is not allowed)
-MKW sprites are acceptable. However keep in mind that those fakes which have edited ones will probably fair better when the voting phase begins.
-Custom BG's are also welcomed, but not mandatory.
