All depends on the programme you use like.

If it's flash, all your answers can be found here. Seriously, everything you need to learn is there, there are also some sprite tutorials you will need to check out obviously which can be found there too.

The way I always learn new stuff though is just to experiment, so assuming you get flash, don't expect to be great straight away - it'll be a while before you become leet, but give it time, and check out all them helpful tutorials and practice.

Obivously grab all you sprites at the MK Warehouse too.

Best way is to just get an animation program and dive right in. Much of the learning comes from experimentation.
