In response to UltimateRyu's piece:
This is excellent, UltimateRyu. You did a fantastic job on the lightning effects, the background is beautiful, and I also think you did a great job with the blood coming from Liu Kang. This is not one of your best fakes, but I still think it is excellent, so I am going to give this fake an overall score of 4/5.

The background is kinda boring, just a copy of the Pit II with less to show for it besides a starry sky and clouds. The stars do look good, though, because they fit in with the style of the old MK games.
Raiden's projectile looks more like Sub's freeze (or even Ashrah's heavenly light) than a lightning attack and it probably would've been a good idea to have electricity flowing through Raiden's body as he does it, just like in the game. I can't tell if there are shadows underneath the sprites, but if they are they look really dodgy. Next time copy the sprite, colour it entirely black and skew it so it looks flat and at an angle against the ground.
Kang's pose is weird too, it looks like the projectile should have gone through his arm but didn't. Not to mention the fact that it's kinda ridiculous that a lightning attack would penetrate a person's body like that. It would've made more sense to have the lightning ball hit Kang and send violent shock waves all over him, sizzling and burning him to a crisp.
You already know from my comment on your 4th of July thing what I think about the moon so I won't go there again.
Overall a dull fake which doesn't show anything we haven't already seen. 1.5/5
And didn't you leave MKO, Ryan Raiden?

Not really realistic, I would like it more if it was electricity pulsing through Liu Kang instead of a ball of light going through him. However, I do like the background quite a bit.

Raiden's bolt looks good, but it would have been better with electricity showing around the beam. I like bridge levels, so everything else is fine.
