Not bad, but you cutted out the water god sprite bad. So I'd give it a 7/10.

I think it’s horrible. But at least you pushed yourself in making something imaginative in comparison to people's fake.

The BG lacks is originality. Play around with Photoshop elements until you have a kickass BG:

The Watergod sprite has an awful outlined like if you stretch it out too much. Be careful when doing that.

Johnny Cage expression is okay, normally when someone is inflicting that much pain, you are known to sprout blood out of your mouth. So add some details with the brush tool opacity. The "thing" impaling Cage looks like it's coming out of his side, instead of his torso. Be more meticulous.

The blood could use more work. Use the brush tool just a bit to get a realistic blood puddle.

Keep trying and take your time.
