Ok, this may sound a little poofy but she's a character on the japanese version of power rangers. Power rangers is a lot different in japan and is aimed a lot more at teens. They swear and everything!

The story is:

Millenia ago, our earth split into two worlds: our Earth, and DinoEarth. A race of evil beings known as the Evorian took over DinoEarth and laid waste to it. The natives, the Dragon People, and their Bakuryu (evolved dinosaur) partners, tried to resist. Finally, the fate of DinoEarth and our Earth lay in the hands of a young warrior named Asuka. Mahoro his girlfriend travelled with him. An evil being known as Jannu/Sanzyou plaugued her body in hope to break Asukas spirit.

I hate how america takes good more mature shows and screw them down. I grew up loving power rangers, but I'm pretty sure these will blow it away! (Also didn't power rangers originate from japan?)
