Brownie points if you can guess the Fatality button input.
I saw an animation of Stryker throwing a grenade in Sonya's throat and trigger the explosion with a modified gun. I thought it was fucking amazing. That inspired me to make a Stryker animation myself, but I forgot the idea and animation execution the next day. I remember it having to do with using a prop from a Sektor sprite, so since I had Sektor sprites handy, I decided to make a Sektor animation instead.
I'm planning on doing a series called "DySekt". Right now you're seeing "Phase #01" (originally was #04 but this idea was so good I had to do it first, sadly this will probably be the best one out of the series lol). I need help deciding if I should name it "DySekt or DiSekt".
I also need a BIG favor from the few people (or is it one person? lol) who can create custom backgrounds. It's amazing how you guys can take props from other stages and like a jacked up puzzle, make them fit so that something fresh is made. I get jealous every time I see these things. I figure these series need something special with them. I'm personally tired of using the background stages from the old games. It's a feeling of "I don't want to use an already seen background to a brand new Fatality" concept. It doesn't mix with me.
What I want is like a laboratory-ish type of stage or a stage that fits with Sektor. The whole purpose of these series is like some operation type of thing. I was thinking like a mixture of MKArmageddon Tekunin Prison or/and MK2011 Flesh Pits (I really like the test tubes with the bodies inside). I really like the idea of the test tubes in the bg.
I'm planning on doing three or four animations, soooo yeahhhh....it would help mainly because the animation start is going to be the same, the background would help distinguish(sp?) the difference. So four custom backgrounds will be nice. Thanks in advance.
"DiSekt Phase 1" The original idea was to have Sektor body slam Sonya onto an operating table that he digistructs. But the animation process of Sektor slamming Sonya onto the table wasn't going so well within my power. I then thought of something better and that was to have Sektor's robotic shoulder arm come out, choke Sonya, raise her in the air and drop her on the table. Each animation series will start off with that.
After that, another arm comes out and both arms start viciously stabbing Sonya's body to the point it seperates in pieces. BUT during the creating process I thought of something better, so this will be put on hold. Now, the robotic arms wishbones Sonya's legs, rips her arms out. One arm grabs her throat to lift her off the table and cuts the neck, leaving the torso to drop.
I believe this animation to be 90% complete. I've been working on this sucker since the 18th and took a two day break.
This animation is the most time consuming thing I've ever done. The robotic arm prop is most of the time edited. I took the original robotic arm prop from Sektor's throw sprites, and either extended the sprites or cut the prop in pieces to shorten it and manipulate it. I also learned to make my own blood props which is heavily used on Sonya, which also means some Sonya sprite editing. I will post my prop sheet when it's done to get a better understanding how much work was put to this.

Do u have to be registered to see it ? There is a mature filter on...Could not see it ...Maybe U could post it here .

Dang, I guess I picked the wrong time to do this since it's empty. Or maybe it's the TLDR post in the beginning...but I'll say it again. TO THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THOSE CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS.....

You want a Tekunin and Flesh Pit mixture, yes? That I can do given some time. I already have ideas floating in my head.
... but then you say you want 4 custom BGs.
That leaves 3 custom BGs with no specifications.
I think saiZero and I can do a joint venture on 1 or 2 BGs depending on our busy schedule(s). I actually look up to her when it comes to custom backgrounds. The apprentice has become the master.

I say Tekunin because it was basically Sektor's stage. And I think it fitted well. It looked all factory looking and kinda futuristic. Being that Sektor is a cyborg, that combination fits, I think.
Now, the idea of the Fatalities is that Sektor is basically gonna be surgerying (ha) the hell out of Sonya. That's where the Flesh Pits idea comes in too, because that's what the stage is about, Shang Tsung mixing parts of bodies together. I want these two ideas to collide into one stage.
So I guess Flesh Pits but with a futuristic feel? or something close?
And I would like to have four of these. :D

Well if that's the case 4 different artists should do one arena each. That way each will be diverse.

Make it three.
I went over my project notes and hated them...I'm currently doing project 2 while waiting on the bgs and trying to figure out how to acquire some sounds since my HDD that had them, got fried some months ago. A third animation is a big maybe though if I can think more for that animation.

FYI - I haven't forgot about'chya... I've just been a bit busy, plus there are a lot of parts in my arena I am "drawing from scratch."

To anyone that cares...I said three before but screw it. I need just two. I'm just going to do the two animations. I said I was currently doing animation #2, but that's on hiatus now, but I will acquire the second background whenever it gets done, no rush, since I'm working on a bigger Flash project not MK related. Once the first background gets talked about and done, I will complete the first animation and show it and work on animation #2 another time in the far future.
