Hmm... well its interesting looking. But to me, the sky just seems a little... to unoriginal. Maybe you could have added more moons, or different colored moons. Something to spruce it up a little, because that moon looks just like Earth's moon.

I like the closer parts of this though, the trees are cool and I especially like the ferns. I just like ferns I guess... The water is also a nice touch, looks like something you'd expect to see in maybe the Amazon. Pretty much what you would expect to see should Zatteria still exist.

You know, I just had an idea. Something like this would be an excellent BG for a fake. Since you do fakes now, why don't you try it? MK really has never had a true 'jungle' type of stage before, I think it could really be cool. Anyhow, nice job.

First of all, it's ZATERRA, not ZATTERIA.
As for the bg, it's quite good looking, actually. Although, I find it to be too simple, and it really could use something more to make it more...well, ''zaterrian''. Like, big lizards, or reptilic skulls and bones, or caves near the water.
Anyway, good job.

very nice, but there is one little lighting problem, the star (im not sure what it is) appears to give off light but it doesnt appear to have any impact on the picture, but very nice over all thats 2 original ideas, gj.

it's a nice scene but if you added more plants maybe a couple of small creatures it would inhance the picture.

Overall it's very nice. One thing however. No, no, no, no, no, no on the lense-flare. Got that, no!

Seriously, lense flares were the ultimate cheese effect when they came out in the mid to late ninties for CGI. Everyone used them, way to much. If you remember SeaQuest DSV and early episodes of Babylon 5 you know what I'm talking about. Remember what they are, light artifacts from a strong light source effecting a camera lense. Directors go to great lengths to not have them.

Whatever light this is it obviously isn't strong enough to generate a corona that large. Look at the landscape, very dark. Use them sparingly or not at all.

Take it easy

About the flare, I didn't implimement it myself it was form a pre rendered background, I tried to fade it bust that was the best i could do.
