Barakas specials not working in ranked mode

When I try to perform Baraka special moves in ranked, particulary <- -> Y and <- ->A, they are not working. Rest of the moves work. Moves also work in all other modes. Guess its the reason nobody plays him... Anyone else experience this?

I think in ranked mode you can only use the available Tournament variations.

Well, I havent changed anything. Using pre-set variation. Can use it in single quick battle, but not in best of 5 battle

So the presets with the trophy emblem on? Because apparantly the standard variations aren't equiped with the tournament presets.
