I know nothing has been released about the MK11 beta however I am seeking some info from people on how previous betas (INJ2, MKX etc) have worked. Are they played online, offline or both? What happens to progress you make on the beta is it wiped prior to getting the real game etc?

I am very interested in pre-ordering to get access to the beta and just want to know a bit more about how betas work

Online only. No progress(i.e. anything earned) is carried over to the full game...at least in the previous betas.

some new information from steam store page . found by gamer68 at tym site . MK is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise.

Interesting. I wonder what the difference is between skins and set of gear is. Injustice 2 had Premier skins which would change the look of the character completely such a Black Lightning for Raiden. Works for a super heroes but not for Mortal Kombat. I would want Frost to have her own move set not Sub-Zero's for example. 6 DLC characters also means a better chance for Mortal Kombat characters as DLC since there is more slots unless it is 4 guest characters. I doubt it since they probably want more Kombat Packs later on.
