I have definitely seen this image before. Like, a long time ago, predating the announcement of MKX for sure. I'll try and find the source so then artist gets credit, but it definitely isn't official NRS work

I found this pic today on a site talking about the beta, but after some investigation I saw it posted on this forum in 2014. Looks like it was DeviantArt submission.
