It's actually midnight of your account's region. Maybe that's the same for you, if you live in US and also have US account. For me it becomes playable at 6am my time because I live in Europe but have US account.

Its midnight est. I'm mst so I always get my digitals at 10 pm my time. My buddy is pst and gets his at 9 pm. If that helps any.

I might just pre-order it digitally.

I was going to pre-order a physical copy via Amazon but I don't want to wait for them to send it out. Then I didn't want to pre-order at gamestop because I'm lazy and don't want to have to go pick it up.

So I guess digital it may be.

Lol, those are literally my exact reasons for digitally pre-ordering. Plus I decided I don't really give a crap about having the physical copy anymore, anyway because the cover art is so forgettable these days.

Also digital here. If I'm correct the pre-load is sunday so everything can be downloaded and ready to play on tuesday in the morning, with a day off from work!

Well, I still like my stuf physical and the fact that I still have data-limit of 200Gb/month. So downloading a game would limit me on other online stuff for a whole month.
The store said I could get my copy as soon as the store opens.

I usually preorder physical from Best Buy, because my Gamer's Club account is still active so I get 20% off non-digital new games. I do delivery, and day-of-release delivery is free from Best Buy when you preorder. I work Tuesdays anyway, so the game shows up while I'm at work on release day and is waiting for me when I get home.

So I caved and pre-ordered through Amazon. Mainly because my PS4 sometimes acts stupid when it comes to downloading things. It can be frustrating.

So will they send the Shao Kahn code with the game or email it when it releases? I never pre-ordered a game from Amazon.

I wish I knew the answer to that one. I'd imagine it would be on the receipt, or through an email. But I'm only guessing. Maybe contact them and ask for a more solid answer.

With physical copies, any DLC or other bonuses are usually in the box either in a manual or just taped on just above the disc.

With digital does the game install with the pre-order bonus content already on there or will there be a separate link to install it available to me?

If you bought digital directly from the Xbox/PSN store, there will be seperate pre-order bonus pack for download. If you have it set on automatic download it will download automatically on 21st. If it won't you'll find it in the store.

If you bought from some other site then you should get 2 separate codes via email. One for the game and the other for pre-order bonus.
