Fatalities will have QTE (quick time event). Depending on which button you press to 'evolve' the fatality to its ultimate end. (think of Scorpion throwing his spear through someone, then you get 2 choices; 1- burn the spear to burn the enemy, or 2- pull them towards him for an uppercut to blow their heads off)

This sounded neat for all of one second until I realized it sounded awful in how absolutely f***ing basic it is. Keep that s*** to Brutalities.

It goes a lot deeper, each fatality has variations, i just gave a really short (and crappy) example. You get 2 QTE's per fatality, its basically a 'kreate a fatality' again but with a more personal take on it.

... this is a post from another forum

Raidens fatality on scorpion in the trailer...
could be some sort of multiple qte's.

Hm... the fatality from Raiden in the trailer does seem to me like a brutality. But in the screenshots posted you can see the fatality from Raiden.

The idea of qte for more diversity sounds great. The more i think about it the more i like it. I can imagine Lui Kang is transforming into a dragon and if you push button A he bite the enemy in half and with button B he burns the enemy with his firebreath.

Man, I hope so.

I think I posted in the Future MK forum about an idea where there are QTE's/multi-staged fatalities to appease people who wanted less ridiculous shit/less unnecessary corpse desecration. Think "character exclusive 'kreate-a-fatality'"!

Was literally just thinking about this at work today.
